CTO and Chief Design Officer at RFIDsec. Hardware design included test driven development of ASIC firmware allowing early proof-of-concept, coordination with subcontractors, implementation of wafer level testing. Software design included design and implementation of a general purpose Java-based API for working with RFID readers and tags (including support for reader and tag specific drivers). The API allowed supporting RFIDsec Secure Protocol with minimal impact to complexity to be handled by the programmer. The SDK included a web-based RFID reader/tag simulator, allowing programs to be tested without hardware. Software design furthermore included design and implementation of service architecture allowing authenticity checks and other tag specific services. Designed and implemented infrastructure supporting production of tags, including secure production and storage of RFID keys. Participated in sales activities and customer demos in the role of sales engineer. This work involved designing and implementation several generations of demonstrators. Participated in the design and development of a Product Registration Utility including necessary infrastructure elements sold as a standard product. |
